Peirce-Phelps, Inc. is a distributor of Carrier, Bryant and Tempstar in 6 states in the northeast part of the United States. We have been in business for over 75 years and have been independently owned by the same Peirce family all of those years. Much of our success has in part been due to our employees believing in our mottoHeadquarters “Succeeding by helping our customers succeed.” We are constantly looking for new products and services that will make our dealers the strongest in the industry.

In that search for new products, is the story of Peirce HVAC Market$harp. About 4 years ago some of our management team attended the National Re-modelers Convention in Las Vegas, NV. While visiting that trade show, they stumbled upon the Market$harp booth and discovered this powerful marketing and sales tracking computer software program. The program was designed originally for the vinyl siding, window and remodeling industry and has been used in that industry for over 12 years with over 660 active users.

After seeing a demonstration of the software the Peirce-Phelps people were offered a demo disk of the remolding program. When they returned to Philadelphia they reviewed the program with others at the company and in a short period of time, great excitement developed among the Peirce-Phelps employees. Many of the people at Peirce-Phelps were so impressed with the software and how it could positively affect the Peirce-Phelps dealer group, that they decided to work with Advance Marketing Concepts to develop the Market$harp software for the HVAC Industry.

Dave Bacon, former Sales Manager of Peirce HVAC Market$harp, worked for over a year with the help of many others at Peirce-Phelps to tailored and re-design the existing program for heating and air conditioning contractors. Not only did the program need to be completely converted but endless hours were spent to develop support mailers, letters and other materials to make Market$harp a turnkey, easy to use, software program.

Shortly after the conversion was complete, an exclusive agreement was drawn up between Advanced Marketing Concepts and Peirce-Phelps making Peirce-Phelps the exclusive distributor in the HVAC industry. Dealer meetings were held with the Peirce Phelps customers, which resulted in many dealers signing up on the spot.

The national launch of the product was at the 2001 Comfortech convention in Nashville, TN. During that convention we determined that we had a need to develop other versions of the program. To date we have 8 different programs. Since that convention we have gained many customers across the United States and have made many relationships with different distributors who have the same philosophy as we do “Succeeding by helping their customers succeed.”
